Take a journey off the beaten path to experience the tranquility Northeast Michigan has to offer. While staying in our cabins enjoy a mesmerizing sunrise/sunset on the shores of Lake Huron, marvel at the fish swimming under your kayak in the summer or at your feet under the ice in the winter. Have a bonfire, grill out, or cozy up next to the fireplace while witnessing nature’s authentic landscape all around you, from the deer getting a drink at the lakeshore, to the squirrels chasing each other in the trees, to the turkeys or peacock stopping by to say hello!! There’s also a chance of watching the otters play in the bay, or seeing the turtles laying their eggs in the sand. You may even catch a glimpse at a mink, badger, or bobcat! With the trees displaying their beautiful color in the fall, to the budding blossoms filling the air with their sweet aroma in the spring, Lake Life cabins have a breathtaking panoramic view year round.
Following the US-23 heritage route as a guide to the area, you will come across scenic drives, quaint towns, museums, lighthouses, bird-watching areas, wildlife sanctuaries, biking trails, and so much more. Your hosts would love to share their awe-inspiring views of the Scenic Wonders of AuGres, and show you why you will fall in love as they did, and want to journey back in the future to dive deeper into all that Lake Life Cabin rentals and Northeast Michigan has to appreciate. The Experience:
So what is it like to stay at Lake Life Cabin Rentals? Well….It’s an experience everything described and more!! Starting with booking and check-in made so easy by your outstanding hosts (and at a reasonable rate!), easy to find, and extremely clean. Once you arrive, you will be awe-struck by the picturesque views all around you. As you head inside to settle in to your temporary home, you are amazed at just how well this cabin is set up with amenities. You will notice how well-stocked the kitchen is with cookware and appliances, and how the open floor plan gives you plenty of room with enough recliners and seating for everyone to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. Making your way to the bedrooms you will want to cozy up for a minute on the mattresses just to appreciate how comfortable they are. You can also enjoy a hot steamy shower with sensational water pressure as you freshen up from your travels.
If it is a rainy day, you will find yourself grateful for the strong Wi-Fi connection with plenty of streaming options (yes.. Netflix!) But when the weather is nice you will want to take a stroll through your backyard right on the lake. As you fire up the grill for dinner and get the bonfire started (the propane and firewood are all there and ready for you), you can play a game of Cornhole or just choose to relax on your own private deck. After dinner, be sure to go for a paddleboat ride to catch the breath-taking sunset right from the water.
These cabins are not just for the summer months though, the walleye fishing is on-point all year round, and watching the moonlight and stars twinkle over the water on a crisp winter night is so moving, it’s almost surreal. If the sunrise is over the frozen lake it is just as gorgeous in the morning seeing the sun light up the sparkling snow as you begin your day rejuvenated.

The property is set in a natural serene habitat that captures frameable panoramic views of wildlife and Mother Nature at its best. The sky will not only impress you from sunrise to sunset, but also captivate you as you watch the night sky light up as the stars twinkle above and reflect their beauty across the rippling waves of the bay right outside your cabin doorstep. This peaceful neighborhood offers amazing experiences for bird-watching, fishing, hunting, watersports, boardwalks, and lighthouses. And keep an eye out for our special neighborhood friend, our fun peacock who likes to make his debut appearances for our new guests.
